Obtaining sources

Currently we cannot offer direct access to our code repositories. Instead we offer source downloads for each of our published OpenWGA CMS module.

For OpenWGA CMS Community Edition

On the list below you will find a sources download file named openwga-version-sources.zip. Download and unzip it to gain access to the OpenWGA CMS server source code.

The zip file contains individual folders for the source code projects that make up OpenWGA server. Each folder is an Eclipse project which you should be able to import easily to an existing Eclipse Java IDE. You in fact could also use an OpenWGA Developer Studio installation, which also contains Java IDE functionalities, to import those projects.

For OpenWGA Developer Studio

Also on the list below you will find a sources download file named OpenWGADevStudio-version-source.tgz. Download and decompress it using tar/gzip to gain access to the OpenWGA Developer Studio source code.

The archive contains an individual .jar file for each Eclipse plugin that the WDS consists of, holding the plugin sources.

For OpenWGA plugins

All source code for OSS-licensed OpenWGA CMS plugins is in fact already contained in the plugin file itself. Use a zip archiving tool to unzip the contents of the .wgaplugin file (which is actually a zip-compressed archive). What you will get is an OpenWGA design directory containing all the sources that make up the plugin codebase.

If the plugin also distributes OSS-licensed Java code you will find the sources of those classes in a file named plugin-sources.zip contained in the folder /files/system of the unzipped plugin contents.

In this folder you will also find the licensing information for this plugin in a file called license.txt.
